The last two weeks of summer were awesome. My family was really busy all the time but my friends were dtp!!!!!!!!!!! I wish i could move my friends and everything that's considered south florida awesomeness 7 hours north. I really like it here, though. I finally moved into my own place. My apartment is perfect and so are my roommates. Living in a dorm was wack. I felt like for once in my life i had rules to abide by where i lived. Lately all i ever do is go to school, eat a lot of food, thrift, sleep, drink, and dance (in that particular order). Nothing's changed, that's for sure.

Events I'm looking forward to:
- House warming party this saturday!
- Japanther does tallahassee!!!!!!!!11
- The Fest in Gainesville
- Yelle, theme park mania (the new simpsons ride), and non stop debauchery in orlando with crazy stephanie

Lately I'm listening to a lot of: crystal castles, arcade fire, AC slater, and random remixes

i'm convinced no sleep, late nights around town, and too much consumption of alcohol have made me more haggard than ever. aside from that, i realized i wanna be a writer. i can see myself writing for the rest of my life.

tonight we're all going to mia's to make dinner and watch the season premiere of project runway and i'm so excited! i look forward to this time of year.
i'm still missing my family and loving the few i know are going to stick around for a while. i haven't gotten used to being away yet but i'm working on it!!!!!!1 all this mayan talk has got me dreaming and thinking i don't want the world to end, i want to live forever.

i really love it here in tallahasse. i was a little dissapointed at not being able to move to gainesville months before i applied to fsu, but this is anything i could have asked for in a new location and more. my dorm is pretty cozy, and although my roommate can be awkward as hell sometimes he's growing on me too. we don't feel obligated to hang out with eachother but we still manage to ask eachother about our day, wake eachother up for our 9 am class, all that bullshit.

As for school, the workload is ridiculous at times but it doesn't phase me too much. I knew i'd like college way better than high school. I don't feel like i'm being babysat and i'm on my own when it comes to due dates, which is what i prefer. i got a 94 on my first 1200 word paper, yessssssss. i hope this school year brings similar results. i also really want to study french abroad in france spring 2009.

Within the first two weeks i spent way too much money, bought a new road bike, met awesome kids, partied a little more than i should have, and cut back on smoking weed. I'm also really homesick. I miss my family the most and I miss my friends too. i'll definitely be appreciating everything so much more, which is one of the main things i wanted out of this mostly because i was starting to get really cynical in south florida.

these last two months in coral springs are totally dragging out. sasha and i realized everytime we count down to our moving day, we always have 2 months left. 2 MONTHS, 2 MONTHS, 2 MONTHS WE'RE DOOMED. everything is coming together so well though, better than i could have ever imagined. my living situation is almost (fingers crossed) all figured out for the next 3 terms of school. landis hall in the summer, my own place in the fall/spring. kelsey decided to move with mia for the summer, my mom is buying me a macbook, my phone works again (which means i don't need to spend money on a new one), i finally cleaned my room, i have yet to clean my car, but my motivation is brewing up again like the coldest beer in town.
i'm going to start an I'M GOING TO MISS series of things i'll miss when i leave south florida, and well the first of the series is:
I'M GOING TO MISS THURSDAY NIGHTS IN MIAMI.

i had another crazy end of the world nightmare the other night and i think these dreams derive from really intense fear of and weird inquisitive interest in the apocalypse. i like it when awesome bands make it big, just so long as they don't sell their soul to the devil.

the past couple of nights/days

so i decided to drive to clearwater, fl to visit my aunt who is really crazy awesome. she's still stuck in the 80's, wears ridiculous colored spandex with huge florida shirts, listens to awesome disco tunes of the late 70's, and cooks really great nicaraguan cuisine. i drove all by myself but after two nights i found myself being bored out of my mind, and i have to say it takes a lot for me to get bored. i kept going to the beach by myself (which is the most lonely one can ever feel), pulled out my noam chomsky read and read away for a couple of hours each day, watched movies on demand, but even that didn't help my stay. stephanie called me from orlando and realizing i was so close, invited me to spend the rest of spring break with her. i agreed and surely enough she saved me from boredom.

the past couple of nights in orlando, fl have left me hungover, sick, tired, and broke (no surprise). but i'm not so much complaining because i'm having a good time and i love hanging out with her and her family, i'm really just explaining why i'm calling the end of spring break the rejuvenation period of the century. i'm isolating myself away from most of society, excluding my dearest family and best friends well because i love them. but most importantly i need to stop getting so drunk all the time. and i want to just focus and finish school, with the energy it deserves.

on a random note, i need to buy a refrigerator, a new tv, ipod speakers, winter wear, and more that don't come to mind within the next three months. i want to do so much and i don't know where to start holy shittttttt!

3 months couldn't drag out any longer
I WANT TO MOVE.
my granmda's down from clearwater, fl and she's been teaching me delicious spanish recipes. the past 2 weekends i've left south florida and now i find myself with not much to do. langerado for a weekend, then sarasota for a weekend has left me with little money. aside from that i've been going to school and work everyday. one more week till' spring break, i'm looking forward to that. graduation is so close.

also, i finally let a professional cut my hair as opposed to doing it myself and only because i was extremely drunk but the turnout was exceptional. HOWEVER i can't say this will happen again anytime soon though, i like cutting my own hair to my own liking.
